FIRST LEGO League - Spring Season

Quick Facts:

• Students in 3rd-9th grade
• Cost $155 per member ($150 if paid with cash or check)
• 2-10 members per team
• 2 parent coaches required
• ​Meet twice a week for 2-hour meetings
• Build custom robots with LEGO pieces
• Program with Mindstorm software
• Build critical thinking skills
• Learn brainstorming and collaboration​

This is not the normal FIRST LEGO League program that we offer in the fall. Key differences include:

• Focus on robot building and programming only
• No innovative research project
• No judging presentations
• Compete in 4 different robot competitions.

• 1/20/20 - 4/23/20 - practice 2 times per week
• 2/8/20 - Saint Joseph Health System Challenge #1
• 2/22/20 - Saint Joseph Health System Challenge #2
• 3/28/20 - Saint Joseph Health System Challenge #3
• 4/25/20 - Saint Joseph Health System Challenge #4 at the South Bend Mini Maker Faire
