Competitive robotics leagues

We are very excited to offer FIRST Robotics to students in the community for our 6th season. FIRST provides a progression of programs that serve students in kindergarten though 12th grade. Hundreds of thousands of students around the world are encouraged to develop their critical thinking and communication skills through these programs.

For the 2020-21 season, we are making some revisions to our offerings and procedures to align with current safety guidelines as related to COVID-19. Please note the following safety precautions:
  • Masks are required on all students, mentors, coaches and parents
  • Hand sanitizer must be applied before touching any equipment or building materials
  • Social distancing must be attempted when possible
  • Team sizes will be limited to 8 in FIRST LEGO League and 10 in FIRST Tech Challenge
  • Parents are encouraged to stay in their vehicles and keep visitations with the teammates to a minimum
  • Competitions will be primarily virtual
  • Attempts at head to head robot competitions are being made but not promised this season
  • We will not be offering programs for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade this fall
For additional information about the programs select the appropriate age group from these options:
  • 4th-8th grade - FIRST LEGO League
  • 9th-12th grade - FIRST Tech Challenge

We offer practice space, building materials and mentorship to everyone in the community that would like to learn about robotics.
