Grand Prize - naming the da vinci xi surgical robot

The Grand Prize will be awarded to the team that accumulates the most points from the four events. The winning team will have the honor of naming the da Vinci Xi Surgical System robot that physicians use at the Saint Joseph Health System Mishawaka Medical Center. The members will also have the opportunity to be "Doctors for a Day". The team will visit the surgical facilities and learn more about how the da Vinci Xi is used to help with procedures. They will also meet with the physicians who use the robot and will have the opportunity to learn more about their educational options and how to become a future healthcare engineer.

Top 3 - lego mindstorm ev3 core kit

The top three teams based on accumulated point total from all four events will each receive a LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Core Kit for their team to use next season. These are from LEGO Education and include the black plastic tote with divider tray. Rechargeable battery and power cord are also included in these kits.

The top five teams based on accumulated point total from all four events will receive a unique commemorative trophy.

Each participant will receive a form of recognition and a commemorative t-shirt for all of their hard work.
