Teams
  • Open to all students in 3rd -9th grade
  • 2-10 students per team
  • 1-2 coaches per team
Registration
  • Opens on 1/7/19, noon EST
  • Limited to the first 24 teams
  • Team registration fee of $50 includes participation in all four events
No Judging
  • No Project Presentation judging
  • No Core Values board review
  • No Robot Design judging
Robot Game 
  • This is a FIRST LEGO League off season series of events
  • We will use the FIRST LEGO League Into Orbit field (2018-19 season)
  • All FIRST robot game rules apply (see PDF attachments below and updates)
Challenge points
  • Compete in all four Challenge Events
  • Robots will run in three rounds
  • Top robot round performance score is used to determine final placing at each event
  • Teams earn points based on their finishing place
  • Example: 1st place earns 24 points, 2nd place earns 23 points, 3rd place earns 22, etc.
  • If a team is unable to compete at an event, they will earn the score of 0
  • Points accumulate from all events
  • Results will be posted here
The team with the most points after the fourth challenge wins the Grand Prize
